Gas N Wash

Beware of this place!! I fell at their self vacuuming station due to fresh cut grass over a hole in the grass by the sidewalk. When I fell no one knew how to handle to situation due to only shift leads working at the time and none of them had access to the office. Due to their lack of training they sent me to two different locations to file the report because no one knew what to do. Then I called corporate and kept playing phone tag with Melissa. Which is understandable due to the holiday but what is not understandable is the way that Jimmy, one of their customers service reps, called me and chose to talk to me. First all he took no ownership of anything and laughter and told me that he was not going to call my insurance to share the video with them. Since customers are not allowed access to the footage. Which again is understandable. He said they were not at fault and that contractors build the sidewalk and I was parked too close to the sidewalk. He is correct that would be because they made the bays for the vacuums close to one another and another car had its doors open next to the bay I pulled into. I was trying not to take off his door when I pulled in. For reference I ending

I am a huge fan of Gas N Wash, particularly this location in North Aurora. Not only does this location have the free vacuums, but it has a cool free "detail center" too, consisting of 2 different interior cleaners, an air gun and a fragrance spray. Wash packages give you a gas discount and if you download the app, there are many other perks too. Staff are friendly and attentive and the store has always been clean and well stocked. Great job GnW!

We live less than 10 minutes from this car wash and saw it getting built, and were excited to try it out when it finally opened. So on the way home in mid February 2026, we went to get our car washed. We got the $9.95 per month for 3 months deal. On the way home, we noticed a streak in the middle of our windshield. We checked the dash cam, and it clearly showed the windshield crack as our car was coming out of the dryer section of the car wash. My husband went back immediately and showed the manager there the video. It’s May now, we have contacted them many times. And all they did was say “we will get back to you”. Then today, they say they’re not going to fix our windshield and saying it was already cracked before we went there. So disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Today was my first experience at the north Aurora new gas and wash location to wash my jeep. I wasn’t aware gas and wash offers glass cleaner, multi purpose cleaner and air freshener spray now which was a huge plus and makes the price more worth it and today they gave away gas and wash towels and a car air freshener that smells amazing! Kevin and Ricky were so great, professional, personalable and smiling, they helped make my experience even better, their great employees. Kevin even power washed my mats which I wasn’t aware that was offered at all, overall great experience I will share with everyone I know and I’ll of course be back. Thanks guys for the great experience today! It feels so good to have my jeep clean inside and out on this Sunny day!

Whoever is in charge of the quality control of the car washes should be fired because they have no idea what they are doing. White spots over the entire car, the entire car wasn’t fully washed and I have the top package. Don’t waste your money
